Biography
Danielle M. Durnan FNP-C is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner. Danielle graduated from the University of Phoenix in 2012 with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN). She then worked as a Clinical Registered Nurse with her BSN from 2012 to 2014. Danielle’s work experience encompasses a variety of clinical settings from Pediatric ICU and CVICU to Adult Medical Surgical and Progressive Coronary Care. Danielle then obtained her first master’s degree in 2014. In 2014 Danielle Graduated from Grand Canyon University with her Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) with an Emphasis in Leadership and Health Care Systems. She then went on to complete her second master’s degree program. In 2019 Danielle graduated from Grand Canyon University with her Post-Master of Science in Nursing Family Nurse Practitioner. Danielle is a current member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP).
Danielle specializes in the full scope of a Family Practice Nurse Practitioner. She provides care for all age groups throughout the lifespan. It is important to Danielle to ensure all patients are treated with dignity and respect. Danielle follows an individualized evidence- based approach in the care of her patients. She prides herself on establishing positive patient centered relationships to ensure patients receive the best care and education possible.
Danielle strives to care for the whole patient physically, mentally, and emotionally. With the current opioid epidemic Danielle has also completed extensive continuing education and training in the treatment of patients who are struggling with opioid dependency and addiction. Danielle utilizes a multidisciplinary approach to the treatment of these patients and strives to provide the latest evidence-based care to ensure success for each individual patient.
Danielle seeks to find a complementary blend of multiple treatment modalities in the treatment of her patients. These modalities include Natural Therapies, Traditional Western Medicine, and Eastern Medicine. This blend provides the best possible care for patients and promotes patient centered decision making and patient autonomy.
Danielle is a nationally board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner accredited through the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP).
